This poem is inspired by a really close friend of mine. After a breakup, he suffered some form of depression. The sight of him draws out emotions that are beyond my grasp. I might not have first hand experience, in heart break but he sure did give a front row sit. As the events unfolded, I saw him slowly losing that certain part of him. There are times when people just feel like something is missing. The feeling of emptiness is evident in my friend.
